Cappuccino was well made by James
Atmosphere is relaxed but nice.
Sleepy beachside Tugun was always the suburb you drive through to get to Coolangatta airport. But things are changing and like big brothers Broadbeach and Burleigh Heads, quality cafes and restaurants are emerging. So I decided to see what is happening at this southern Gold Coast 'village' and dropped into the Groove Cafe and had a chat, coffee and brilliant Eggs Benedict with James.
Eggs Benedict was just right with perfectly poached eggs
Weekdays Coffee & Eggs Benedict combo is only $15.50
Owner James Park on the all important machine
The 'village' of Tugun is growing up
So take the old route to the airport and drop into the Groove Cafe and have a chat with James. Definitely worth the detour.
Groove Cafe menu - extensive & lots of choices
Nice place for a relaxing coffee & breakfast
Portuguese Egg Custard Tarts - one of my all time favourite
Look authentic, must taste next time I visit James.
James, owner & the 'singing barista' with Dom, the chef
James is also known as the 'singing barista' - check out his opera dinner nights
Groove's Grilled Chicken Salad
A favourite of regular customers
My favourite Latte coming up
Salad with Feta on Turkish Bread
Coffee & various food bundles are popular & great value
Warm & friendly is the Groove's feel
You can dine inside or outdoors.
Nice selection of breakfast & lunch dishes
Razuu 'recommends' James Groove cafe in Tugun.
