Junko & Masa Nakazawa opened Sora Japanese Cafe & Restaurant at Mermaid Waters, Gold Coast four years ago. Masa worked in one of Perth's major Japanese restaurants for nine years before moving to Gold Coast. Sora has steadily gained a reputation for serving well priced 'home style' cooking, using top quality ingredients and made to order. If you visit Sora, you will notice a high percentage of Sora's customers are Japanese - a good sign of freshness and authenticity. Lunch specials are available daily but an extensive a la carte menu is available for lunch and dinner as well.
