Taboon Middle Eastern is the creation of Siggy & Stephen Issacs. Their food is the culmination of their Isreali heritage and years of living and cooking in the middle east. Stephen is a trained chef and restauranteur from Australia met Siggy while working on a cruise ship in the Meditaranean. Stephen worked in Isreal and the Middle East for a total of twelve years before they decided to come back to Australia about ten years ago. Lucky for us!
They started Taboon in 2006 and have grown the business into one of Gold Coast favourite eating house especially with the 'local foodies'. This has taken a lot of hard work and the dedicated support of their children who all work in the restaurant.
One of Taboon's mission statements is 'to present the cuisine & culture of the Middle East in a modern Cafe environment'. A total success in our opinion!
